Mountain hut "Međuprenje" is located on the site of the same name, on the mountain Prenj, at an altitude of 1540 meters.

The capacity of the mountain hut is 25 beds, and it has a cistern with drinking water, and its own power supply system via solar panels.

The hut is a closed type, and visits must be announced in advance.

The mountain hut is located in the part of ViaDinarica "White Trail", in the locality Međuprenje (1540 m above sea level). From the house, the trail leads further towards the Prenj valley "Lučine", and further towards Tisovica. The house is surrounded by two beauties of Prenj, the top Cetina (1992 m above sea level), which can be reached in 1.5 hours on foot, and the top "Izgorjela gruda" (1860 m above sea level), which takes about 2 hours of walking.

Transport is possible only from Glogošnica to the locality "Čatrnja / Bunar" (960 m), from where it takes about 2 hours to the mountain hut.

2. By macadam road from Glogošnica to the Bunar / Čatrnja site (960 m), and to the mountain house. * possibility of organizing transportation by off-road vehicle from Glogošnica to Bunar.

Stayed at Meduprenje Hut for one night in September 2021. I was able to access the hut through the Naid, the secretary at one of the local mountaineer clubs. They keep a key hidden so no need to do a return trip to collect/ return keys. The hut has a basic kitchen, plenty of bedding, a water supply and a wood-burner fire. It’s located right on the edge of an escarpment so spectacular views. There didn’t seem to be a toilet so back to nature I’m afraid. The hut was a welcome respite after the very long climb from Jablanica.
